Discussion Leaders
Women In The Word Discussion Leaders are small group facilitators. They are responsible for leading women in meaningful discussion as well as encouraging sharing and practical application of the biblical truths learned in each lesson. Discussion groups are prayerfully put together, combining women from mixed ages, life stages, churches and levels of bible knowledge. This creates a wonderful environment where women can be mentored by each other while learning how to follow Christ and growing in their bible knowledge.
Everything that happens on Wednesday in Women In the Word is mentored on Tuesday during our leader's meeting. This is a dearly loved time. We begin with small group prayer for personal needs and then gather all together for large group worship and prayer. Everything that happens in Women In the Word is always bathed in prayer. After this time together, we break into small discussion groups to go over the bible study lesson questions for that week. We end by getting back together again for leadership training. All Discussion Leaders must first be a participant in the Women In the Word and all staff members must first be a participant and Discussion Leader. This ensures every woman who is placed in a position of leadership is vetted.

- DONELLE MILLER
- I have been in Women in the Word for seven years. I enjoy reading, music, and being with family. There are three adult kids with spouses and seven wonderful grand-kids. I am excited to learn more of God's word with the lovely ladies! I love being a group leader again this year.
SANDRA SETTY
I am originally from Williamsburg, Virginia. We came to Casper, Wyoming in 1996. I came to the Lord when I turned 40 years young. I have never looked back grabbing hold as hard as I could to the Lord. I started with Women in the Word, as a young Christian back in 1999. I then got distracted with children and work and home but knew I would return. I promised the Lord I would devote my time completely when I retired, and I am fulfilling that promise. I am looking forward to this year and Bible study and learning more of God’s Word.
